Elevate Your Entryway with Brassage: Experience Unrivaled Craftsmanship and Design Excellence.
The simple and classic Brass surface finishes. These finishes involve first polishing the brass to a mirror or satin finish. The finished products are then thoroughly cleaned before being sealed with our highly durable silicon-based lacquers. The lacquered products are baked in an oven up till 180 degrees Celsius to harden and cure the lacquer for a lasting finish life. Lacquering prevents the brass from tarnishing however it is still recommended to clean the products regularly for a longer life.
Patina finishing process involves several oxidizing, hand brushing, burnishing and highlighting techniques to create unique shades natural to brass. All our patinas are a work of art, the expertise for which we have developed over the years. It is a handcrafted process carried out by our craftsmen who have more than 15-20 years’ experience in finishing brass products.
Our state-of-the-art Electroplating plant has the capability to produce a wide range of durable metal and surface finishes. We have an in-house waste treatment plant, which ensures a zero-carbon footprint from our plating processes. Each plating process is carried out as per industry standards and all plated products are regularly tested for coating thickness, corrosion resistance, impact and abrasive resistance to deliver the best quality products.
These unlacquered brass finishes will age and change with time to develop a natural patina, the way brass products are meant to be. These finishes require greater care and regular cleaning to maintain the glow and sheen of the product. Unlacquered products have the advantage of being scratch resistant, since there is no lacquer or plating on it which can peel off, and are easy to restore in the long term.
PVD Coating is the most advanced and durable metal coating process. It is an environment friendly process since it does not use any chemicals for coating. For brass products we first do hard nickel chrome plating before the PVD coating process to ensure a strong colour bonding and high corrosion resistance. All PVD coated products come with a finish warranty of 5 years.
